Collage Paintings

Ian first explored the use of collage in paintings in 2012. They may commence with abstract paintings, adding cuttings from architectural magazines or by selecting images first, assessing their form and colours. Maybe reworking, adding cuttings as required, blending with paint until complete. This method can produce surreal and unsettling images.
